KU College of Engineering and Technology, Warangal, officially known as KUCET, is an affiliated college of Kakatiya University in the city of Warangal, Telangana. Located in the premises of Kakatiya University, this institution has been shaping the young generation of engineers and technologists. The college is recognised as a well-known engineering college. The college is recognised by the University Grants Commission (UGC) which makes the college to operate on a set quality standard. The list of engineering and technology disciplines available in KUCET reflects programme developments in response to the needs of the marketplace and society.
The college has various infrastructure facilities that are meant to improve the learning environment of students. The keep of any academic resources is the library which is well endowed with the necessary materials for the student’s and faculty’s needs. It has a large stock of tutorial and books, journals and electronic resources for use by scholars within a conducive environment. KUCET has excellent IT facilities. It is also proud to provide and provide students with modern computing facilities, fast internet, and the latest software tools for their disciplines. In addition, KUCET provides well equipped laboratories for different departments and sections. Through these labs, students are given a platform to practice what they have learnt in class as they try to solve real life problems.
KUCET has a wide range of courses for students in various classes of higher learning. The college offers ten courses from four degree programmes to meet various intelligence and career needs. The flagship programmes include Bachelor of Technology (B.Tech) courses in the fields like Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering and one of the new unique courses being offered – Computer Science & Engineering with Data Science. All these B.Tech programmes are planned and structured to allow the students take a full four years of their programme and equip them with knowledge and skills required in their areas of specialisation. KUCET also has provisions for postgraduation for those who seek to pursue their studies to the next level. These are a two-year full-time M.Tech degree in Computer Science and Engineering, MBA and MCA respectively.
There is a sound admission process as a policy in KU College of Engineering and Technology. For the undergraduate engineering programmes, the college admits majority of the students based on the rank obtained in the Telangana State Engineering Agriculture and Medical Common Entrance Test (TS EAMCET).

KU College of Engineering and Technology (KUCET), Warangal, is a constituent college of Kakatiya University and provides various engineering and technology courses. Admission to KUCET is intended to identify meritorious and worthy candidates for different undergraduate and postgraduate courses. The college has a systematic admission process based mainly on state-level entrance tests for various courses.
For undergraduate engineering courses, KUCET accepts most students on the basis of their TS EAMCET performance. The TS EAMCET is an important part of the admission process for B.Tech courses. The application process for TS EAMCET usually starts in late February, and the exam is held in May.
Eligibility requirements are different for each program. Candidates should have passed 10+2 with core subjects of Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in the case of B.Tech courses. For postgraduate admission, candidates must possess a related bachelor's degree from a valid university.
Application Process
The application process at KU College of Engineering and Technology, Warangal, differs based on the program:
For B.Tech programs:
1. Register and apply for TS EAMCET via the official website.
2. The application process for TS EAMCET 2025 is to be held between February 24, 2025, and April 3, 2025.
3. Attend the TS EAMCET test on the fixed date.
4. After declaring the results, eligible candidates may attend the counseling process.
5. Select KUCET and the preferred B.Tech course during counseling.
6. In case of a seat allotment, attend KUCET for document verification and admission procedure.
For MBA and MCA courses:
1. Register online for TSICET on the official website. The registration may start in March.
2. Appear in the TSICET exam as per the allotted schedule.
3. Shortlisted candidates can proceed with the counseling process.
4. Choose KUCET and the desired course (MBA or MCA) during the counseling process.
5. On being allotted a seat, pursue the admission formalities at KUCET.
Degree wise Admission Process
B.Tech: KUCET provides various B.Tech courses such as Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, and Computer Science & Engineering with Data Science. Admissions for these courses are generally on the basis of TS EAMCET ranks. Applicants who are eligible in the TS EAMCET can apply for these courses.
MBA: The admission process for MBA at KUCET is different. The candidate must have passed the TSICET exam to be considered for admission. The candidate is chosen based on his/her performance in TSICET, followed by the counseling process.
MCA: Admission to the Master of Computer Applications (MCA) program is also made through the TSICET exam. Eligible students can pursue the MCA course at KUCET by going through the centralized counseling process.

Good infrastructure and facilities. Good classrooms, laboratories has equipment and machinery in working condition, library, NCC, sports. Good environment at day time. good for playing sports like cricket and kabaddi .

There is a medium infrastructure and facilities are good and equipment is sufficient , libraries are species and tournaments are there in college ,wifi will be available 24 hrs and the food is hygienic

Dear Aspirant,
If you are from the unreserved general category then you will not be getting any government college for CSE Branch whether NIT or IIIT or GFTI. I suggest you should either prepare again for the JEE 2021, or take admission in some private colleges.
