Regarding your second question, you should have passed with at least 75% in your graduation or equivalent masters course in the same field and take up German language test. Some colleges might even ask for work experience.

Most universities look at your GRE score, TEFEL/ IELTS score and your GPA for bachelor's degree

A score between 150-160 is considered as a decent score and above 160 is good and leaves more hope.

The average minimum requirement in US universities for TOEFEL is 78

GPA should be 3+ on a scale of 4.

Now, Universities also require an SoP from the students. A good SoP highlighting all your research work, your achievements increase your chances.

Doing research work, writing papers, indulging in projects will also give you an edge.
