The KVG Medical College, Karunjibag, came into existence in the year 2002 and it is an affiliated college in Sullia, Karnataka. Regulated by the National Medical Commission (NMC), this medical school for both males and females provides a wide choice of medical courses. Though the college offers medical and other professional courses, it also offers allied health science courses such as Bachelor of physical therapy with 40 students, B. Sc Medical lab technology, and B. Sc Medical imaging technology for 20 students each. There is no direct admission at KVG Medical College, but students have the opportunity to be admitted based on national level entrance test. NEET UG is used for admission to MBBS programme and it is an eligibility cum entrance test. For the admission in MD and MS courses admission is offered on the basis of National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Postgraduate (NEET PG).
