KVM College of Engineering and IT are affiliated college started in the year 2004 Situated at Cherthala, Alappuzha district of Kerala. Affiliated through the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), this institution has programmes across the field of engineering and management system. Nestled on a total area of 14.99 acres, KVM College enables a seamless environment for education. The courses being offered at KVM College of Engineering and IT are as follows; Four year B.Tech programme in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Artificial Intelligence, and Machine Learning, Cyber Security. The college also has postgraduate courses through MBA and MCA and diploma in Civil Engineering and Planning, Computer Science and Engineering and Mechatronics. All programmes are contact based full course, normally taking 2-4 years for degree courses and 3 years for diploma courses. It means recognising 330 of total approved intake with dispersion of places from 30 to 60 for each course.

Reservations for admission in B.Tech programmes require passing in the Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) entrance test.
