KVM College of Nursing Alappuzha started in the year 2002 is one of the leading colleges of Nursing in the state of Kerala, India. The postgraduate programmes includes, M.Sc Medical Surgical Nursing, M.Sc Paediatric Nursing, M.Sc Obstetrics & Gynaecological Nursing, M.Sc Community Health Nursing, M.Sc Psychiatric Nursing having 5 admissions in each. Applicants seeking admission to KVM College of Nursing experience different requirements per programme and quota. For taking admission into B.Sc Nursing, the selection into the government quota is determined by the merit list issued by The Director, LBS, Centre for Science and Technology. The seats in Post Basic B.Sc Nursing are divided as 50% merit quota and 50% management quota. Admission of students to the Government quota seat is through the Commissioner of Entrance Examination for M.Sc programmes depending on merit. I would like to inform you that the admissions for BSc. Nursing in KVM College of Nursing have already started.
Eligibility criteria:
Candidates must have passed Higher Secondary Examination of the Board of Higher Secondary Education of Kerala or any equivalent examination recognized by any of the Universities in the State of Kerala with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology and a minimum of 50% marks in English in second year to be eligible for the course. Further, candidates should be of at least 17 years of age. 50% of the seats are based on Merit, 50% are based on management Quota, and out of this, 15% of the total seats are reserved for NRI.
Application procedure:
Application for the B.Sc. Nursing course can be registered only online through a single application.For this, you can visit the website- www.pncmak.org . Submission of more than one application by a candidate can lead to rejection. Selection to Government quota is through the merit list published by ‘The Director, LBS, Centre for Science and Technology’- www.lbscentre.in .
