Established in the year 1981, KVR KVR and MKR College, Guntur, is a private affiliated college of Acharya Nagarjuna University. The college is affiliated with Acharya Nagarjuna University, located in Guntur, Andhra Pradesh, and is ranked by NAAC as a 'B' grade college. The college is spread across a 25.21-acre campus and offers streams in arts, commerce, and sciences at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The college has an enrollment of 524 students, with a faculty strength of 23 members. The college offers 7 different courses in 4 various degrees. The student body is pretty diverse, with a 57:43 male-to-female ratio among undergraduates and 55:45 among postgraduates. Most importantly, it reflects 100% of students from within the state itself, hence offering strong local bonds. 

KVR KVR and MKR College has many facilities for the students' overall enrichment. Some of them include separate hostels for boys and girls, a well-stocked library with internet facilities and photocopy service, and modern laboratories for practical learning. The campus has an auditorium, cafeteria, and health centre for medical emergencies. It is also equipped with 200-metre running track, volleyball court, and 12-station well-equipped gymnasium. The students are also provided with Wi-Fi connectivity, smart classrooms, and a convenience store for all the regular requirements. 

KVR KVR and MKR College offers a total of 7 courses, including both undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. The undergraduate courses consist of BA in Economics, History, and Political Science; B.Com; and B.Sc in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, Electronics, and Computer Science. The college offers a postgraduate course that includes M.Sc in Organic Chemistry. All these courses are full-time courses: three years for UG courses and two years for the PG course. The total approved intake for all courses is 316 students, and the highest intake is 70 seats for the B.Sc course in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. 

Admission to KVR KVR and MKR College will be done basically on merit i.e., based on the marks obtained in the last qualifying examination. The college combines the curricula of courses with human values to create excellent human resources. The college offers scholarship opportunities where, in the 2022 academic year, some reimbursements were received by 388 undergraduate students out of the 484 students.
