Lakhimpur Telahi Kamalabaria College, Lakhimpur, was established in 1977. The co-educational college, spread across a vast area of 17.025 acres of land, conducts various undergraduate courses. Quality teaching with stern commitment toward the same has established LTKC as an institution, and such quality is proven to be at par with standards through its accreditation by NAAC. The college provides education to aspiring scholars in a vibrant and conducive ambiance, with a total student enrolment of 760 and a faculty strength of 39.

Lakhimpur Telahi Kamalabaria College has a huge number of facilities to assist in the entire process of education effectively. The central library is one of the best in Lakhimpur district, which accommodates a huge stock of books and efficient services available for readers. Recently, it was upgraded and has been christened with the name "Central Library cum Museum" to indicate its new role in preserving knowledge and cultural heritage. LTKC also gives great monetary importance to physical education and has indoor and outdoor sports facilities. A well-equipped indoor stadium supplements the athletic talent of the college.
