Lakshmi Narain College of Technology (LNCT), Indore was set in the year 2004 and is one among the acknowledged educational institution situated in Madhya Pradesh, India. LNCT Indore is a large campus with an area of 10.4 acres which comprises a wide variety of engineering and management courses.  It provides the right atmosphere for education as the total student strength is 635 and the faculty strength is 121 teachers. Currently it provides 16 courses spread across three degrees and focus on engineering disciplines and management education.

The institute provides a total number of 14 courses and is involved in full time under graduate and post graduate programmes majoring in engineering and management. Currently the LNCT indore offers 10 full time BE programmes, 3 ME programmes and 1 MBA programme. The total students that take courses in the institute are 635, and this has shown that the institute takes its decision of having the right student/faculty ratio very seriously. Based on the information above, the college target for the quality and relevant curriculum to be offered to the students in order to graduate competent individuals is achievable.

Standard admission process of LNCT Indore may keep fluctuation as per the programme. Admission to the undergraduate engineering courses is received through online off-campus counselling organised by the Directorate of Technical Education, Madhya Pradesh. This counselling process is compulsory for all prospective students to be enrolled in order to get a seat. For post graduate engineering programmes there is entry through Gate exam results so that the candidates with adequate knowledge in their chosen discipline are selected. The admission to MBA programme requires a counselling procedure based on score obtained in C-MAT which follows the trends of management education.

Quality Of the various tests, LNCT Indore recognises scores in some of the most important nationwide standards such as the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE Main) that are conducted for the applicants of the engineering discipline, and the Common Admission Test (CAT) for the management courses. These exams are used to meet goals to be achieved during the selection of the qualified students for the institute to enroll only the most intelligent ones.
