Lal Bahadur College of Education Warangal was established in year 2002 with vision to build for the future of education. Situated in Mulugu Road, Warangal Telangana, this affiliated college is recognized by National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). It has a 5 acre land area and the only college offering two courses in education with total enrolment capacity of 222 students,. The faculty consists of 11 professional teachers who provide good stewardship and quality education to students at the institution.

Lal Bahadur College of Education comprises range of facilities that are up-to-date to support and complement learning process of the college. Every school has a library which is fully equipped with various sources of information, that may be useful to students. The institution provided different departmental laboratory, which are important for enhancement of students’ practice, especially for those who are planning to become teachers. A big computer had been provided with 25 systems and internet connection to make the students update with the advanced technology in teaching and learning process. For endowing all round development the college has sports complex and gymnasium so that student shall be fit as well as wise. There are several auditoriums, which accommodate different events, including seminars, so students have an active social life on campus. It also manages health/first aid facilities, in a bid to enhance students’ health and welfare found in the college’s centre. A canteen and guest rooms make the school compound more comfortable and convenient for the users as well as visitors.

Lal Bahadur College of Education offers two full-time courses: Two year Integrated Bachelors in Education (B.Ed) and Masters in Education (M.Ed) programmes. The M.Ed programme has an intake capacity of 50 seats, on the other hand the B.Ed programme Intake capacity is unknown. These can be defined as innovation programmes meant to prepare students for the effective practice of this profession, as well as prepare them for their practice through the acquisition of theoretical knowledge, skills, and attitudes concerning various aspects of pedagogy, educational psychology, and educational methodologies.

Admission to Lal Bahadur College of Education: Students seeking admission at Lal Bahadur College of Education have to write an examination and get merit to ensure that they attain a seat in this College of Education. However, the B.Ed programme comes under the state level EDCET (Education Common Entrance Test) for the purpose of admission. Candidates aspiring to study in M.Ed must pass the KUCET (Kakatiya University Common Entrance Test). These tests determine a candidate’s ability and his or her know-how in the area of education. The college is also bound to offering quality education therefore it restricts its door to only those who wish to work hard and excel.
