Founded in 2014, Lal Bahadur Shastri Polytechnic is located in Prayagraj, in the state of Uttar Pradesh. It is a co-educational college with a matter of 15 members in its 5-acre campus. Through multiple numerical strength, the college has a total enrolment of around 202 students, and it has 3 different disciplines of engineering diploma programs. 

The curriculum of the institute is focused, therefore dedicated to technical education with modern facilities that would continue to reflect on the preparation of the students toward acquiring a vocation in different engineering fields. The polytechnic has been coordinated and established with facilities designed to upgrade the learning process and add more value to the entire development of students. The well-equipped library will be established as a knowledge hub to support the academic try. The campus includes modern laboratories for each department, thus providing hands-on learning experiences. 

Lal Bahadur Shastri Polytechnic offers three full-time diploma courses, each with a duration of three years. The courses include Diploma in Civil Engineering, Diploma in Electrical Engineering, and Diploma in Mechanical Production Engineering. Each of these courses has an intake of 60 students, which provides an overall intake of 180 students. The programmes at the institute are crafted in a manner to provide the students with a robust base in their fields, with a concoction of theoretical knowledge and practical skills that would therefore gear them up suitably for the industry.
