Lal Chand Mal College of Education, Kurukshetra was established in the year 2008. It is an affiliated college, situated in Jhansa, Haryana. The institute is approved by NCTE and co-educational in its pattern. The institute has a compact campus of 1 acres and aims at providing quality education to its students in the field of teaching. The total student enrolment is 189, and the strength of faculty is 7, maintains a favourable student-teacher ratio. 

Lal Chand Mal College of Education provides various infrastructural facilities for the all-round development of students. The college library covers an area of 2000 sq. ft. and has a good collection of books, encyclopedias, and reference material in its well-lit and centrally computerised library by the barcoding system to make sure proper management. Besides two tutorial rooms, there are eight large, well-ventilated classrooms, each about 525 sq. ft. in size. The laboratories are well-maintained in all the discipline areas and dovetail theoretical knowledge with practical experience in the campus. Among the facilities that provide for the welfare of the students, a health centre with first-aid facilities, a canteen, sports facilities, an auditorium for events and seminars, and excellent IT infrastructure to support the needs of modern learning are available.

Lal Chand Mal College of Education offers a single course, the B.Ed. programme. This full-time course is meant to turn students into professionals in teaching, developing them with the skills and knowledge needed to excel in education.
The admission to Lal Chand Mal College of Education is merit-based, in accordance with the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or Entrance Examination. The college adheres to the admission policy laid down by the State Government, U.T. Administration, and the affiliated University.
