Lala Mahadev Prasad Verma Balika Mahavidyalaya, Gosainganj, Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh was established in the year 2000 as an affiliated college. The institution stands approved by NCTE and offers many varied forms of educational programs for a student's pursual. It sprawls over 3.01 acres with a total student intake of 1,062 and faculty strength of 69. The college has courses in Education, Arts, and Commerce to provide students with a wide spectrum of academics. Altogether, there are 9 courses across 6 degree programs.

The courses provided by Lala Mahadev Prasad Verma Balika Mahavidyalaya are mainly of undergraduate or postgraduate degrees. The college provides nine full-time courses for students who are undergoing both undergraduate and postgraduate degree courses. The students will be given undergraduate courses in the analogies of BA, B.Com, B.Ed, and B.El.Ed, and the students who are willing to seek higher degrees can pursue their higher level studies in the stream of MA in Hindi, Sociology, Home Science, and Education also an M.Ed. Approved intake: 100 for B.Ed., 50 for B.El.Ed,, and 50 for M.Ed.
