Lalsa Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology, Ghazipur is an affiliated college with its campus in Raipur, Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh. Being a co-ed institute, it has devoted its mission to providing the best technical education in courses of engineering. The college, Lalsa Institute of Engineering and Rural Technology, Ghazipur, is affiliated with All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) and awards diploma degrees in streams of engineering. There are 38 members in the faculty of the institute and they reach out to the students with care and guidance.

The college has laboratories for different departments which are well-equipped, where students get practical know-how and hands-on experience in their respective fields. LIERT has a very extensive book collection, journals, and reference material which is readily available for use by its students. Truly, an indispensable part of the academic experience in the institute. The institute offers a very limited variety of focused diploma courses, all of which are full-time provisionally designed to equip the students with detailed knowledge and practical experience in their respective fields. 

LIERT now offers diploma courses in the streams of civil engineering, electrical engineering, and mechanical production engineering. Both these Diploma Courses have an intake strength of 120 and Electrical Engineering has an intake strength of 60. The institute is now, therefore, taking in a total strength of 300 students across the three courses, which signifies the validity of smaller classes to effective learning.
