Lalta Prasad Tiwari Smarak Mahavidyalaya was set up in 2016 and is a nascent college situated in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh. Located on a mere 3 acre plot, this emerging college has carved an important niche for itself in terms of education in the region. It is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) that guarantees quality teacher education. The college has a student strength of 191 students and faculty strength of 8 so has better student-teacher ratio which implies better interaction and better guidance.

This is a two-year programme that is an Teacher Education programme for any candidate who wishes to teach at the elementary level. The college has an approval to admit 50 students for this course showing that the college is specific on the training of teachers. Although the institute is currently offering only this one programme , their focused effort to offer high standard programme in this area can be seen.
