Larambha College, Larambha was established in 1964 affiliated to the Council of Higher Secondary Education, Bhubaneshwar, Orissa. This institution has been in existence for nearly six decades and it located in a vast area of 18.21 acres. The college is affiliated to the NAAC, which is an indication of our desire to produce quality education. Larambha College has a total student intake of 1,111 and with the facility of 43 faculties, the college provides well equipped environment for students. The college currently provides two undergraduate degree programmes: BA and B.Sc programmes each having an intake capacity of 128 students in each admission.

Larambha College has many additional amenities intended to complement the learning process of the college community members. A knowledge centre, college library boasts of book bank of more than thirty thousand books, a rich reference section, National & International journals. It is fully automated and gives the students an easy opportunity to pursue an extensive information base. To support the sports lovers, the college has a 5 acre play ground with facilities of badminton court, basketball court and Lawn Tennis. The college also shows a great concern in health and has a well equipped 24 station gymnasium. Due to the students’ different requirements in this aspect, Larambha College offers boys and girls’ hostels, including accommodation for students who choose to stay in college.

The college offers two full-time undergraduate courses: BA- Bachelor of Arts, B.Sc – Bachelor of Science. Each of them has a three-year study period and prepares students for further activities in the chosen specialisation. The total approved intake for these courses is 256 while the number of intakes per programme is 128. This has provided the needed balance of opportunities between arts and science programmes. As we cannot obtain the information on the number of graduates, reference to the quality that the college provides can be considered a positive result of its work.
