Late Bali Ram Kashyap Memorial Government Medical College, Jagdalpur, Dimrapal, Jagdalpur, Chhattisgarh, was established in the year 2006. This affiliated college is approved by the National Medical Commission (NMC). The institution imparts education leading up to various medical programs to students. Late Bali Ram Kashyap Memorial Government Medical College offers a total of 5 full-time courses, including both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The flagship program is the Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery (MBBS), with an approved intake of 125. At the post-graduation level, the college trains for some of the specialized courses which include MD in Forensic Medicine, Community Medicine, and Dermatology, Venereology & Leprosy, and also MS in Ophthalmology. The admissions for the postgraduate courses at the level of MD/MS are to be processed through the National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Post Graduates, NEET-PG. The college accepts NEET and NEET-PG scores for its various programs, hence admitting only the most meritorious students.
