Late Keshav Prasad PG College, Ballia, is admitted to Purvanchal University, Jaunpur, from October 18, 2008, in the Sasana area, Bahadurpur, Belthara Road of Ballia, Uttar Pradesh. It is approved by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) and offers 16 considerably different courses at 6 different degrees. The college provides a good learning environment with a total student enrolment of 993 and faculty strength of 57.

The college offers a number of prominent degrees: BA, B.Sc, MA in multiple subjects (Hindi, Sociology, Home Science, Geography, Ancient History, Political Science, Sanskrit), M.Sc in several streams of science (Botany, Mathematics, Chemistry, Physics, Zoology), B.Ed, and D.El.Ed. The B.Ed course has an approved intake capacity of 100 students, and the D.El.Ed. course can accommodate 50 students annually. 

The admissions at Late Keshav Prasad PG College are solely done on a merit basis that is the marks obtained in the entrance exam or merit of the qualifying examination under the rules formed by the state government and the university. Admission to the B.Ed. course shall be made on the basis of the candidate's performance in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination or any other selection process as per the state government and university policies. Similarly, admission to the D.El.Ed. program takes place according to merit, ascertained from marks in qualifying examinations or from the entrance test.
