Late Vasantrao Naik College of Physical Education is the leading institution of Physical Education in Nagpur, Maharastra. The college also holds some departmental laboratories to ensure that students practice on real apparatus. In the physical fitness and training area, new gym facility is allowed for students. Also, there has been impressive development in Information Technology that has been incorporated in the college to help students to be conversant with modern trends in use of technology in their area of specialization. 

Late Vasantrao Naik College of Physical Education provide two regular courses for its students at the college level and courses for two different graduate and post graduate standard. B.P.Ed has an intake capacity for 100 students and M.P.Ed has intake of only 30 students and both course take 3 years and 2 years respectively to complete. These are scheduled programs aimed at offering all round education in physical education to produce students into different capacities within the field. The total approved intake on both courses is one hundred and thirty students per academic year to uphold quality education in physical education as focused by the college.
