Latha Mathavan Engineering College is and established engineering college situated in Madurai of Tamil Nadu in the year 2007. This affiliated college, recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE), presently imparts a variety of engineering courses on its expanded campus of 10.04 acres. LMEC Madurai, in its abbreviated form, currently has a total student capacity of 351 and with a faculty of 94, the ratio is quite healthy. The undergraduate programmes include BE in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering and Computer Science & Engineering streams. At postgraduate level it provides ME in CAD CAM. The total of approved intake for all courses is 412 intakes enough to meet the demand and requirement of young engineers.
