Law College Dehradun (LCD) is a constituent college, and the college was established in the year 2002 at Dehradun, Uttarakhand. This prestigious institution, affiliated and approved by the Bar Council of India, imparts different law courses to the aspiring legal minds. The faculty strength of the institution is 18 in number, facilitating a more focused learning environment. The institution, located at Arcadia Grant, P.O. Chandanwari, Premnagar, Dehradun, is part of the larger Uttaranchal University. 

The facilities provided by the college are immense, all of which provide enriching learning experiences for its students. There is a library that is one of the keystones of legal education, with numerous books, journals, magazines, and newspapers totalling more than 17,500. It also subscribes to online databases like West law and Manupatra that assist in-depth legal research. There is a Computer Centre with more than 50 computers functioning as a Centre of Digital Learning and Research. One of the unique features of the LCD is its Moot Court Hall that closely resembles a real court. This 150-student capacity hall is very helpful in enhancing students' legal advocacy skills by building up practice, training, and competitions. The college provides facilities for indoor games like table tennis and badminton for physical recreation. The 500 capacity air-conditioned seminar hall, equipped with ultra-modern amenities such as multimedia projectors and sound systems, is an ideal setup for events held at the national and international levels.

Admissions to most of the courses in Law College Dehradun are based on merit, by considering the marks secured in the qualifying examination.
