Laxmi Institute of Computer Applications, Sarigam: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Laxmi Institute of Computer Applications, Sarigam is an affiliated college instituted in 2009 in Valsad, Gujarat. This institute caters to computer applications education with two postgraduate programs in Master of Computer Applications. Located at Sarigam, it has a commitment for providing quality education in the field of information technology. 

Laxmi Institute of Computer Applications has several facilities that would help students in learning and development. LICA has different separate boys and girls hostels, hence providing a comfortable living to some of the out-of-town students. The institute has a well-stocked library with more than 2,600 books containing 636 different titles, and a subscription to 12 periodicals and 8 dailies. A gym is also housed in the campus, for the enthusiast of physical fitness. The college also takes care of health care at the institute's medical facility, which provides first-aid services. On its sports ground, the college fields cricket, soccer, athletics, handball, volleyball, kho-kho, and hockey-many types of outdoor games.

Currently, LISM offers two full-time P.G. courses: MCA, a three-year program, and MCA Lateral Entry, a two-year program. Both programs are aimed at providing students advanced knowledge and skill on computer applications that would enable them to excel in their respective careers in the IT industry. 

LICA has primarily been following a Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) approach when admitting students. The institution has admitted students who express interest in the test to further admissions. All these are institutionalized so that merited students get a chance to pursue their MCA in LICA.
