Leelabai Thackersey College of Nursing, SNDT, Mumbai, was established in the year 1952. This women-only institution is situated at the heart of Mumbai at Churchgate and is approved by the Indian Nursing Council. The college imparts nursing education at different levels with the following three specialised nursing programmes: B.Sc, M.Sc, and Ph.D. The student-to-teacher ratio is very favourable with a total enrolment of 214 students and a faculty strength of 11. Leelabai Thackersey College of Nursing has a total of three full-time courses across different levels of nursing education. The undergraduate course in B.Sc. Further, the College has a Ph.D. course in nursing, thus opening avenues for research and academic pursuits.
