Liberal College of Education, Indore was founded in 2009 to provide teaching & education at post graduate and undergraduate level. The Maharishi Institute of Management & Education is a co-Education Institute settled at Pigdambar, Rau, Indore sprawled in the expanse of 3 acres to provide a favorable ambience for prospective teachers. It also affiliated to National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) approved college, which offer effective training programs for teachers. As of the current population, the number of students is 217 and this has made the institute to ensure that adequate access to student-faculty ratio for the students is provided.

Modern amenities which are available in the college include, these are, facilities that aim at improving the learning process of its students. Great importance is paid to making students literate for this a well-equipped library is functioning as a center of information While great importance is also paid to practices, state-of-the-art laboratories are the place for hands-on learning. Liberal College of Education currently offers two main courses: Two programs are available one is Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) and the other one is the Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) program. The two are full-time courses, while the D.El.Ed takes two years to complete.

At Liberal College of Education, the admission is given to the merit as per the marks obtained by the candidate in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination.
