Little Rose College of Education, Draksharama, is one such institution that was established in the year 2004. The given institution is a co-educational college that trains future teachers. The affiliated college is situated in Venkatayapalem, Draksharama, East Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh and has received approval from the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE). Spread over a spacious 2-acre campus, the college has two full-time education programmes in place and can admit a total enrolment of 141 students. Little Rose College of Education offers mainly two courses under the Faculty of Education. Both B.Ed. and D.Ed. are two-year, full-time courses with an approved enrolment of 100 students for each programme at 200 seats in total. The admission process at the institution, Little Rose College of Education, is strictly merit-based. This process is guided by state government as well as university policies. Admission to the B.Ed. programme is made on merit of marks in the qualifying examination and/or result of the entrance examination.
