LJ School of Architecture, Ahmedabad: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

LJ School of Architecture (LJSA), set up in 2013, is an important education center in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. This constituent college of the Shree Lal Bahadur Shastri Education Trust has been permitted by the Council of Architecture to conduct programs leading to specialized postgraduate studies in architecture and urban planning. Situated on a compact 2-acre campus near Sarkhej-Sanand Circle, LJSA has quickly gained significant prominence as an architectural education institution. Currently, with 191 students, and a faculty strength of 29, the institute's student-to-teacher ratio also remains reasonably favorable, ensuring personalized attention for each student.

The institute has well-equipped modern facilities to support its academic program. The library is the creative and innovative center of LJSA: it houses an extensive collection of resources in architecture to meet the needs of teaching and researches of its students and faculty. Campus IT Infrastructure The school also has a well-equipped laboratory with 38 computers, all equipped with the latest software needed to produce and execute an architectural plan. Other facilities include a cafeteria, auditorium for events and seminars, a gym, sports facilities, and a health center that offers first aid services. This allows campus accommodation to offer a well-rounded experience in the pursuit of academic and personal development.

Four academic programs in differing levels of study comprise LJSA. The four programs within LJSA can be clustered into four products of architecture and two of urban planning.
The five-year B.Arch program admits 80 students. There is also a four-year B.Design program and two years of master's programs in the field of Urban Development and Management and Urban and Regional Planning. All programmes are full time. This will be complemented with thorough theoretical knowledge and the practice of skills in the chosen specialisation. LJSA embraces diversity in programmes for conducting activities that face different aspects of the built environment and urban development.

Admission process is engineered to filter out the best talents for its programs at LJSA. With 80% NATA score and above, clearing the National Aptitude Test in Architecture, bachelor's B.Arch degree.This requirement of the Council of Architecture allows the students under admittance into the institute to have a proper aptitude and skills for the fruitful performance of professionals of architecture.
