Loknath Mahavidyalaya, Chandauli: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Loknath Mahavidyalaya, started in 2000, is an affiliated college situated at Chandauli, Uttar Pradesh. It is co-educational and is located in a 6.72-acre area; the university provides various undergraduate as well as postgraduate programs. It is recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education, NCTE which mandates the quality college in its teacher training education. Loknath Mahavidyalaya has a total of 992 students and 18 faculties which make most conducive environment for students to learn. The institution teaches 7 courses in three degree programmes, in arts, education and home science. 

Loknath Mahavidyalaya has many resources to improve the quality of the students’ education in many ways. The college boasts of one of the best playgrounds containing different exercise equipment to foster students’ health and spirit of teamwork. An Auditorium Proves Oraganised Event Of One Form Or Another Including Educational Seminars Is Held And Promotes Intellectual As Well As Cultural Development Of People. The library of the institution has 4000 books of different genre, 200 reference books and many a number of periodicals and journals. In enhancement of practical experience, the college does have departmental laboratories. Concerns of students’ health is catered for in a health center which has first aid amenities. Besides, the campus provides gym for those who prefer frequenting a fitness center, food court for those who crave snack, and a guest house for the visiting faculties/students and their families respectively. 

The college in fact is offering total of 7 courses all of which are full time program. Fig 3.1 presents these as including undergraduate and post graduate degrees with an array of academic interests. Out of all these programs Bachelor of Arts (BA) takes the largest number with 660 intakes followed by Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) which has 100 intakes. The college introduces postgraduate degree in Urdu, Sociology, Geography, Hindi, and Home Science, with different number of seats for each course. The total students figuring in all courses offered is 992 demonstrating the institutions adherence to ensuring quality education to many students. 

The Loknath Mahavidyalaya follows the admission norms for all its course differently. Admission to the B.Ed program are merit based and level of marks obtained in the qualifying examination and/or entrance examination is taken into account. These may even include the specific admission criteria you have for the School and the admission policies for the School and the institution as stipulated by the state government, Union Territory administration, and the affiliate University.
