Loknete Dr. J.D. Pawar College of Pharmacy was established in the year 2008 at Manur and is one of the pioneering institutions imparting Pharmaceutical Education. This co-educational college is spread over a sprawling 20-acre campus at Manur in Maharashtra. The institute is an affiliated college approved by PCI, New Delhi, under the umbrella of the university. With a total student enrolment of 290 and 17 as the faculty strength, the college offers ideal surroundings for learning to aspiring pharmacists.

This college has modern facilities that help in the development of students both academically and personally. A number of 40 tetra occupancy rooms are available in the Boys and Girls Hostels, fully furnished with attached bathrooms, thereby making living easier for students. There is a well-equipped gym with all the latest instruments, exclusively for boys, although there are separate timings for girls. The college lays much emphasis on health, and it is for this very reason that the institution has provided a first-aid facility through the Health Centre. The library is rich in books, journals, and magazines. It provides an ideal atmosphere for study and research. Available sports facilities, an auditorium for events and seminars, and a canteen meant to meet various needs of the students are provided in the campus area. The college also maintains well-equipped laboratories for practical learning, since the study of pharmacy is impossible without practical work.

Loknete Dr. J.D. Pawar College of Pharmacy runs two major courses in the Pharmaceutical area. Bachelor of Pharmacy is a full-time, four-year program with an approved intake of 60 students. For advanced specialisation, the college offers a two-year full-time Master of Pharmacy program in Pharmaceutics. The programs target orienting students toward gaining comprehensive knowledge and skills in the pharmaceutical industry.
