Newly established in 2007, LR Institute of Education Solan is a co-educational affiliated college at Jabli Kyar village in Solan district of Himachal Pradesh. Located in a wide 16.85 acres area, this institute is designed to foster future teachers. The college is recognised by the National Council for Teacher Education (NCTE) to maintain the quality of teacher education. LR Institute of Education has a B.Ed course where the school aims at producing qualified teachers in the escalating education sector.

LR Institute of Education has facilities of the latest technology to complement the learning and teaching programme of the students. Facilities offered include separate hostel for boys and girls for the out station students to stay comfortable and study better. At this time, LR Institute of Education in Solan offers only one full time course – B.Ed programme. This programme takes two years and has an approved capacity of 100 students to underscore the institute’s policy of providing quality education by minimising the size of classes. The B.Ed course enables any candidate to be equipped with the skills, knowledge and practical exposure as required in the filed of education.

LR Institute of Education B.Ed programme admission is done through entrance examination conducted by Himachal Pradesh University. It is very important in order to make sure that the people being selected are competent in their ways of performing their duties and making sure that all people are equal in front of the law.
