mechatronics is about study of mechanical engineering, computer engineering, telecommunications etc it focuses on real time computer interfacing, sensors, actuators, modelling.

Does SRM provide fee waiver for other state board toppers also?

Thanks for contacting Careers360.

Yes, SRM University provides scholarship to the state toppers whether they are from the CBSE board or any other State board. The scholarship is awarded at the time of admission.

Selection Procedure

Online applications for the award of scholarship will be kept open in June/July every year. Processing will be done by the scholarship committee and selection of awardees will be done by a committee consisting of SRM Institute of Science and Technology (formerly known as SRM University) officials and invited academicians from other Universities.

Note

The decision of the scholarship committee would be communicated to the selected candidates.
Scholarships are not applicable for MBBS, BDS and all PG Medicine programs and Allied Health Sciences.

SRM University have there own entrance exam so its all depends on your performance in exam. If you get the rank below 1000 so they will give you good concession.

It is almost 14 lakhs for four years of undergraduate courses expect hostel fee.You can get hostel fee details from the official website of SRM UNIVERSITY (different for different campuses).

which are the colleges allow PCB class 12 students (w/o maths) for B.tech in bio-technology course like SRM, VIT?

Well i can answer this question quite because i have been then the part of VIT. You are not eligible for VITEEE if you don't have Maths as your 3rd Subject because Maths is asked in the entrance examination not biology and same goes with SRM.

To join Genetic engineering in SRM university , you have to take SRMJEE(UG) , and you have to attempt physics, chemistry, biology specifically. Whereas you can Also join through direct admissions. They offer direct admissions and scholarships to top rank students from central as well as state universities, and top 1000 rankers in IITJEE . you need to prepare in IITJEE level in order to qualify SRM university elegiblity test.

What salary package can be expected if I'll get admission in CSE branch in SRM university??

Hey Botta Janapriya,

SRM University is one of the top most private universities in India. This college has many branches. Out of them Kattankulathur is the most better and Top most chosen among the students. If you get admission in this college then you can easily expect a minimum of ₹5,00,000/- salary package for annum and the maximum is based on your capability and the technical knowledge you have on CSE.

Hello Dear

See let me tell you one thing that don't think that taking admission in university's like SRM and VIT will lead you to the 100% placement because many students from these campuses doesn't even placed in single company as well. So overall I am going to saying is you can expect the good package based upon you performance in the four years of your degree eventhough there are good companies as well which are coming in these colleges to hire the students in the dream package and yaah average salary package is around 3.5 - 4.5 LPA which will from most of the IT recruiter's.

It is totally based upon the individual performance because most of the IT recruiter's will recruit the CSE / IT students in an average package of 3.5 - 4.5 LPA and eventhough dream companies will also offer fatty package ranging between 30 - 40 LPA from companies like Microsoft and all .
