M.S. Ramaiah College of Arts, Science and Commerce (MSRCASC) a college which was later on started in 1994 situated in Bangalore, Karnataka. Recognised from Bangalore University this is a co-educational institution offering undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in various streams. MSRCASC has successfully marked it in the NIRF 2024 rankings in the college category and stands 87th in the list. NAAC recognized the college, and the college is also AICTE approved for maintaining the quality of the education system. Located on a 2.9 acre land, 2,657 number of students are admitted in total for MSRCASC with a faculty of 94. The institutes provides 18 courses in 10 programs in the field of Sciences, Arts, Humanities Social Sciences, Commerce, Computer Applications and Management streams.


MSRCASC offers a numerous range of resources to improve the student/staff experience in the university. The college houses a well-equipped library with regular working hours from Monday to Friday, 9:Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday from 20-40 AM to 16-40 PM and Saturdays from 9-20 AM to 13-40 PM. The school has well-equipped laboratories for the practical part of learning, health facilities for first aid and even a gym. The college has provisions for a cafeteria, arranging seminar hall and conference hall, and available area for vehicle parking. It promisingly offers a sporting chance to the sports lovers with activity indoor and outdoor games which adopts the quatrain development perspective. The college also sustains effective IT support for the advancement of the digital learning mechanism.


While developing its strategic direction for offering full time courses, MSRCASC has made availabilities of several full time courses both at undergraduate and postgraduate levels. The college offers 18 degree programs which are traditional and semi-traditional courses. The list of some of the typical undergraduate programs is as follows: B.Sc in Life Science, Physical Science and its major,B.Com and B.Com Honours, BCA Honours and the available bachelor of arts programmes including Journalism and Political Science. At the post graduate level, the college offers MBA, M.Com and M.Sc. in Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology and Organic chemistry. For all the courses the approved intake is 2,657 proving the institutes capability to handle a large number of students.


MSRCASC has different admission requirements for the courses offered in the school depending on the course taken. MBA admissions are offered through MAT conducted by AICTE and Karnataka PGCET and based on the state counseling according to merit and reservations of the Government of Karnataka. Students can apply to the college with their preferences for different courses of study, and the college has a prescribed capacity for students it admits into different courses. For example, B.Sc Life Science has 220, B.Com and B.Com Honours each has 200 seat and last one MBA has 60. MSRCASC also provides scholarships to sponsor more candidate students for their deserving nature. During the academic year 2023, 660 undergraduate and 76 postgraduate students were issued reimbursements making the college guarantee quality education for all.


The M.S. Ramaiah College of Arts, Science and Commerce is situated in MSR Nagar, MSRIT Post, Bangalore. Being near these transport facilities, Bangalore Railway Station is just 10km away and Goraguntepalya Bus Stand is only 5km away making it easy for students to get to this center. Yes, our collage has all the necessary infrastructure, but there is no canteen of our own. Washrooms isn't clean all the time. Projector in our class doesn't work. Other than these, everything is good.

All the facilities are provided but most of the times we are not allowed to use them. Facilities in classroom, Library is very good. Sports facilities are not available. The place is clean and the food is hygienic too.
