The Maa Bhagwata Kunwar Institute of Polytechnic, Mau (MBKIP) is an affiliated college situated in Mau, Uttar Pradesh of India. Founded with a noble aim to produce quality technical education the institute offers diploma courses in different engineering streams. Syllabi in MBKIP are recognised by the All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) thus promoting standard technical education in the country. The faculty of the institute encompasses 36 members, all striving to produce the future generation of professional personalities. 

MBKIP provides five diploma courses in various disciplines to meet various interests of the intending engineer. MBKIP currently provides a total of five full time diploma courses all of which take three years to complete. The institute ‘s academic offer in this type is represented Diploma in Electrical Engineering, Diploma in Mechanical Production Engineering, Diploma in Computer Science, Diploma in Civil Engineering and Diploma in Mechanical Automobile Engineering. These are first and foremost aimed at giving students the right grounding to enable them start of on a good note in the chosen field. The combined approval for the admission of all courses is 300 seats, Electrical Engineering admitting ninety students, Computer Science fifty each for Civil Engineering, Mechanical Production Engineering and Mechanical Automobile Engineering admitting thirty.
