Maa Durga College of Teacher Education for women, Agra was established in the year 2006 which is affiliated. Situated in Muhammadpur, Shastri Puram, Agra (U.P.), India, this college is situated in approximately 1.23 acre campus. The institute accredited by NCTE is offering two professional courses in education. There are 202 students enrolled in Maa Durga College of Teacher Education for the entire course and the faculty strength is 17 members. The college's commitment to quality education is evident in its tailored programs: B.ED in respect of the Bachelor of Education and Diploma for Lower Primary, Upper Primary, Elementary Education known as D.EL.ED.

The faculty of Maa Durga College are two full-fledged courses both are running for teacher education in different prospectus. The two year full time Bachelor of Education (B.Ed) Programme for 100 students aims at preparing teachers to teach at the secondary and senior secondary level. The other is the Diploma in Elementary Education (D.El.Ed) which also takes two years and enrolment is fifty students, this programme produces teachers that specialize in primary education. Altogether these courses provide an additional of 150 seats which again indicates the potential of this college to train a large number of prospective educators per year. 

The process of admission in Maa Durga College follows policy for the State Government, the UT Administration and University affiliated rules. In case of the B.Ed, program the students seeking admission have to qualify the entrance examination conducted by the university or the merit of the examination that the student has appeared for.
