Sharda Mahavidyalaya,situated in Chhatarpur, Madhya Pradesh is one of the young colleges as it was established in 2015. This affiliated college, located at Gatheora, Panna Road, has been constantly working and growing to promote education from last almost a decade. It is an NCTE recognised institute for teacher education and offers only teachers training programmes. The college located in a small area of 0.75 acre now holds 97 students and 8 faculties to keep a close interaction between faculties and students along with maintaining a small area of the campus.

Sharda Mahavidyalaya boasts a set of resources that help provide special opportunities for students. The Maa Sharda Mahavidyalaya college offers two courses which are full and specialisation in which is teacher training. The B.Ed programme is a two year course and was specifically designed to prepare students for the teaching profession. For those seeking to combine liberal arts with education, the college has an integrated programme of BA B.Ed which takes four years to complete. The two programmes offered in this field enable students to pursue two degrees at once, a Bachelor of Arts and a Bachelor of Education with a focus on the specific subject. Although actual enrolment seats for each programme is not outlined the total student capacity for all courses are 97 and this is also the current student capacity and hence the capacity is fully realised.
