Maa Vaishno Teacher’s Training college which was started in 2008 is an affiliated college situated in Udaipur of Rajasthan state. This is an NCTE recognised institution which is aimed at providing teacher education programmes. The college is housed in a limited space of 1.148 acres With the current total intakes of 330 students and a teaching staff of 27 faculty members. Teachers’ institute has two combined programmes which show that the institute is fully involved in delivering a holistic training teachers. Maa Vaishno Teacher’s Training College wants to prepare the future teachers of India, due to the college’s focus on education and the availability of all modern facilities.

Maa Vaishno Teacher’s Training college has various centres which enable the college to create better learning environment to its learners. The well-endowed library which is the life wire of the institution boasts of over 8000 books and an accommodation capacity of forty students. It also avails dailies and magazines for readership and promotions of research institutional culture. It has specialised science lab, computer science lab, psychology lab, curriculum, and mathematics lab that provide practical learning opportunities to the student. For technology-driven education the institute has a computer laboratory with twenty personal computers with internet connection. The college also caters for the needs of students through having canteen, health centre with basic first aid provisions, playground and a gymnasium. An auditorium is provided for meetings and seminars for use while guest rooms are provided for use by visa, guest faculty, and family members of students.

Maa Vaishno Teacher’s Training College has two full time integrated courses and these courses running up to four – years. The two programmes which address this need are the BA B.Ed Integrated and B.Sc B.Ed Integrated courses. These are the total intake capacities for these courses that have been approved – 200, where each programme has an intentional capacity of 100. This field of specialisation enables the college to offer professional training in teacher education for students to teach in various faculties of arts and sciences.

The admission criteria followed at Maa Vaishno Teacher’s Training College involves the marks of the examination conducted at the college to the qualifying examination. The college also adheres to any other mode of selection as prescribed in the policies of the State Government, University or the U.T Administration.
