Madhav Institute of Technology, Baghpat, was set up in 2015, affilleted to M.J.P Rohilkhand University, Bareilly, at Ramnagar, Baghpat, Uttar Pradesh. Occupying a total land area of 1.0101 Acres and sitting in a compact educative environment, this institution is significant to preparing teachers. NCTE recognized the institute presently offers two full time courses for which a total student intake is 388. Faculty strength is 32 and this lays down a good student faculty ratio. Ranking information on the institute is limited but the institution keeps a high standard of education in their specific area of training. 

The institute helps to provide a set of facilities that can contribute to the improvement of learning perspective and personal growth of a student. An equipped library is one of the most important facilities in any institution asAnd it is a storehouse of information that is critical for learning process. There are departmental laboratories in the campus and the students have the opportunity to gain practical experience in whatever theory they learn. To meet the current modern world challenges, the campus boasts of good information technology provisions. A cafeteria on the site is also focused on providing food for the staff and students to make the institute more unified. 

At present, Madhav Institute of Technology, Baghpat is providing two full time courses in the field of education only. These are a Bachelors degree programme in education ( B.ED) and a diploma programme in elementary education (D.El.ED) both taking two years. Number of seats admitted has an approved strength of one hundred in the B.Ed program and fifty in the D.El.Ed program. This has taken the total conceivable number of seats in the two courses to 150. Most importantly, the providing of teacher education as one of its core areas prepares qualified teachers who are prepared to transform the future of education in region.

The candidate’s selection policy at Madhav Institute of Technology, Baghpat has merit base admission policy which follows the rules & regulations of the State Government, UT Administration and the affiliated University of Rajsthan. Admission to the B.Ed program is generally done on the basis of the marks secured in the qualifying examination as well as/or entrance test. The institute may also use other procedures of selection as maybe provided by the current policies. In regards to the D.El.Ed program, the admission-process implies the merit of the applicant based on the results of the qualifying test and/or an entrance examination.
