Madhav Sarvodaya Mahavidyalaya, Faizabad: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Madhav Sarvodaya Mahavidyalaya was founded in 2011 as a secular, co-educational, and affiliated college. The institution is situated in Faizabad, within the state of Uttar Pradesh, imparting quality education in the field of teacher training on a compact 1.497-acre campus. The college got its approval from the National Council for Teacher Education, New Delhi. This college has a total enrolment of 1,394 students and faculty of 35, with highly conducive student-teacher ratios for learning. 

The facilities in the college enrich the academic experience of the students studying in the institution. A well-stacked library functions as a knowledge center and provides all resources necessary for growth in academics. The sports facilities for the physically fit in the college give the school a balanced approach towards education. The institution also knows the importance of technology in modern education and so it is with excellent IT infrastructure. Laboratories equipped to aspirant teachers' needs help work out skills and earn practical experience along with theoretical knowledge. It also sustains a cafeteria that meets the culinary needs and provides a comfortable space in which students and staff can have some time out to relax and rejuvenate.

Currently, Madhav Sarvodaya Mahavidyalaya offers only one full-time course at the undergraduate level, namely Bachelor of Education or B.Ed. It is a two-year self-funding course, especially designed to groom budding teachers. The academic programme at the lead is, of course, the B.Ed. programme, and it brings out the focus on teacher education. Even though the college currently has a single focus, this kind of specialization can enable concentrated effort in producing quality educators. 

Admission to Madhav Sarvodaya Mahavidyalaya is carried out in accordance with the rules laid down by the State Government, U.T. Administration, and the affiliating University. Merit in the qualifying examination and/or an entrance examination is the basis for evaluation. This will ensure that suitable and deserving students can get admission to pursue their teaching goals. Though young, Madhav Sarvodaya Mahavidyalaya is slowly but steadily making its mark in the area of teacher education. This makes the institution, with its NCTE approval and its focused approach to B.Ed. education, a noteworthy option for admission into the teaching profession. It holds immense potential to contribute much towards the development of skilled educators in the region as it continues to grow.
