see if you are already passed 10+2 course , you can give entrance test like jee main, wbjeeb, mhtcet and can join btech 4 years degree course, however if you are in 10th or already passed out you can join diploma course , after completing diploma you can join btech course from second year of studies. all government and state owned private and public colleges have lateral entry scheme except for nits or iits.
