Magna College of Engineering is an affiliated college in Chennai, Tamil Nadu and it was established in 1999 in Kancheepuram. Established on a campus size 75 acres, the institute is delivering technical education for the past twenty two years. Amenities for sports and games are provided for the students because the college organisation believes that for students to be fit both in spirit and mind then they must be healthy and this they do by engaging in sports exercises. For instruction and learning, adequate IT systems and facilities are available while equipped laboratories facilitate practical exposures to related technologies.

Magna College of Engineering has a total of 9 courses, and all his course are full time. It offers the Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Civil Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering Electronics, and Telecommunication Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering and lastly Computer Science and Engineering. In adition, it also have B.Tech programme in Information Technology. The total approved intake for these course differs, whereby some programmes are able to admit up to 120 students per year and others admitting 60 students per year.
