There are no shortcuts and dont get fooled by scammers. You cannot join any merchant navy institute in India approved by DG shipping without giving entrance exam.

If you want to be a successful mariner, be it an Engineer or a Deck Officer, you have to appear for IMU CET for getting an entry into the course.

After completing the course successfully, you can join as Deck Cadet.

No you are not eligible for IMU CET because 

• The candidates should have passed 12 thstandard qualifying examination with aggregate marks of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.

• At least 50% marks should have been secured by the candidates in English

According to the IMU CET 2019 eligibility criteria, candidates should be  minimum of 17 years and maximum 25 years old as on August 1, 2019.

You are not eligible for admission as per the age limit criteria.

Do you mean scholarship? Because companies do not give sponsorship for education, that is given for events.

There are many companies that provide a scholarship for education, but you need to satisfy their minimum eligibility criteria for that and some companies conduct exams for the same. So kindly get a list of the companies that do so. If you need further clarifications, let us know.
