Indian Maritime University(IMU) conducts CET national level exam for admission into prestigious merchant navy course in available 5 locations Cochin, Kolkata, Mumbai, Chennai and Vishakhapatnam. This year, the online applications for IMU CET 2019 started on April 06, 2019 and will terminate on May 11, 2019. Please, follow the official website for latest notification.

One need to prepare well to appear for IMUCET examination as the no. of seats are limited. The paper consists of basic general science paper of 3 hours. The eligibility criteria for admission into IMU can be referred from official notification.

Yes, of course you are eligible. Your age should be in between 17 years to 25 years on August 1, 2019. You should have to score an aggregate marks of 60% in Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics in 12th standard and at least 50% marks in English subject.

Register yourself for the online counselling procedure on IMU's website. Then, you'll need to pay the counselling fee through a SBI Challan in the favor of IMU. 

After clearing IMU CET you will be called to any of the campus of IMU and allotment will be done there based on your exam result , physical , medical and other test took by them.

After a short term of time you will get a mail or lletter either by post or fax of selection.

The eligibility criteria for appearing for IMU CET is that you should be atleast 17 years pf age and you should have passed 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 60% in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics. So, technically you should have passed your 12th from any recognised Board. Unfortunately, you can only appear for this entramce examination the next year.
