Hi Candidate,
Congratulations.You have secured a good rank in IMU CET. As per your category you can get in one of the top IMU colleges like IMU chennai campus,kochi campus,kandla campus.
You can browse the courses and the detailed information in https://engineering.careers360.com/articles/imu-cet.
All the best.
No sorry you are not eligible for imucet. the minimum marks for 10+2 is 60% . this is the minimum marks for eligibility to seat in the exam. you alao need a minimum of 50% in 10+2 or 10 in english. thus with this10+2 marks you wont be able to get to seat for the imucet even if you score good.
Hi Gaurav,
I am here to help you with your query.IMUCET is the one way to join B.sc nautical colleges affiliated to Indian maritime university. It's ok if you are not qualified in that because there are colleges like which offer this course based on your JEE advanced exam like
* T.S.Chanakya marine engineering and research institution, Kolkata
* National Maritime Academy, Chennai
Some other colleges offering B.sc Nautical Science/B.sc Marine Science with their entrance exam are
* Tolani Maritime University - TMISAT
* West Bengal colleges - WBJEE
* Cochin University of Science and Technology - CUSAT CAT
* Vels University
* Mumbai University etc
So If you are really passionate about Merchant Navy browse a lot then definitely you can find more colleges not based on IMU CET. I just provided very few of them.
All the best.
Feel free to ask your further queries.
Thank you.
Hello student,
The basic criteria for pursuing any course is that you must have passed class 12. For science courses, you must have compulsorily passed in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with a minimum of 50% aggregate.
Hence, as you have failed in Physics, there is no benefit of giving any entrance for pursuing Science courses as that won't lead you to admission.
Cheers!
Hi Komal,
you don' need to need to answer a certain number of questions correctly from a particular section rather your rank will be based on the marks obtained in all sections combined.
you will get +1 for every correct answer.
also, keep in mind that there is no negative marking in this exam.
