Mahalaxmi Institute of Management and Technology, Meerut: Admission, Courses, Fees, Placements

Mahalaxmi Institute of Management and Technology (MIMT) was set up in 2015 and is a fledgling college situated in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh. An affiliated college to the University, recognized by the All India Council for Technical Education: AICTE is located in a comparatively small 3 acre land. MIMT enrolls a total of 120 students for its single and only postgraduate program, the MBA. The institute has a faculty of 19 members, but slightly low student faculty ratio. Unfortunately, ranking data is not specific; however, MIMT is in the process of building institutes reputation in management education. 

The institute boast of several sophisticated structures which facilitate learning for the students. A promising aspect of MIMT is an IT service where there are several computer laboratories with chiefly beneficial modern software. As of today, the campus has Wi-Fi, which enables students and staffs to have easier access to high – speed broadband internet. As a part of the intellectual resource of the institute, the library consists of more than 3657 books, different magazines, international Journals and Newspapers. It is of particular use both to faculty and student, as it provides access to the vast databases necessary in various works and projects.

MIMT at the moment only has one program on offer which is the full time Master of Business Administration (MBA) program. This two-year program has an approved intake of 120 seats and it clearly indicates that the institute is incorporating quality education in the field of management. The design of MBA course at MIMT is such that it is capable of providing students a taste of corporate world with strong emphasis on both the theoretical concepts along with the practical skills. 

Admissions into MIMT involves a set competitive criteria and recognizes most of the national entrance examinations. The institute accepts scores from other important management entrance test like CAT/XAT/ ATMA/CMAT etc. As for the dates, prospective students should visit the institute’s website adress or contact the admission office. MIMT believes in the provision of a package education in its provision of education. The institute provides the number of amenities to enhance academic as well as co-curricular activities. Accommodation; private adequate well equipped disease free cafeteria for student and staff diets. For those with interest in sports and games, MIMT houses a number of resource in form of accommodation such as two very large playground for Outdoor games like Football, Volleyball, Hockey and Cricket. Also, there are two well-equipped gymnasiums in the campus, for boys and girls apart from supporting their overall education they nurture the physical health too. The institute also has a State of art Auditorium which facilitates different programs like seminars, and guest lectures for the wider exposure of the students and sharpen their view regarding the industrial world. As far as particular data concerning scholarships and Nobel leaguers cannot be provided, along with development of facilities, MIMT remains in the process of growth and development of itself as an institution preparing future leaders of the business world. As MIMT progresses, it plans to extend from this framework and enshrine itself more effectively in the context of management learning. Future learners who want to get an MBA degree but are interested in a specific concentrations, and wanting to study in a campus equipped with modern facilities might consider MIMT as an option for their postgraduate degrees.
