Mahalwar Institute of Pharmacy Aligarh, which was started in 2015, is a pharmacy college affiliated with Dr. A P J Abdul Kalam Technical University in Uttar Pradesh, India. The institute, which is located on a 2-acre campus, is recognised by AICTE New Delhi and PCI. As a specialised institute carrying out education in the field of pharmaceuticals, the institute presently has only one course enrolled with 110 students in total. All in all, the composition of faculty still remains 7, and we also have an excellent number of students in a classroom, which provides good strength for teachers. The physical facilities of the institute are well equipped, and human resources has also focused on updating the curriculum to meet the industry needs. This course takes a duration of three years, and the institute has an intake capacity of 120 students, provided that the programme targets specific pharmaceutical education. The D.Pharma course is planned to give wider knowledge about the pharmaceutical sciences so that one can be able to work in several fields of the pharmacy profession. Even though the institute delivers only one course, it is extensive and lays down a programme that ensures the graduates are ready for their professional life in the pharmaceutical sector.

No you cannot apply for diploma in pharmacy after completing 10th class only. You need to complete at least 10 + 2 class level board examination for being eligible for diploma in pharmacy. You are a part to study Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics or Biology as compulsory subjects for being eligible for diploma in pharmacy course. However the minimum required percentage criteria where are from colleges to colleges and Universities to Universities. The average minimum percentage required is from 35% to 45%.
