Mahapurusha Hadidas Mahavidyalaya, Chhatia of Jajpur, Odisha, this college was established in 1978 which is an affiliated college. Sited on 8 acres of land, this particular institution has recently received accreditation from the NAAC institutional level. Currently the college provides a rather large number of undergraduate courses, but they are mainly oriented towards arts and humanities. In total, the college admits 725 students and has 25 faculty members which allowed to keep the proportion between students and teachers rather beneficial. It has 9 courses in two extent programmes where the institution concentrates in disciplines like English, Odia, Economics and much more.

Mahapurusha Hadidas Mahavidyalaya features diverse amenities for the student benefit and effective learning processes augmentation. A good example is the exposure that students get from a well stocked library that is the centre of information. Socially those willing to go for exercise the college provides sports infrastructure and equipment to help individuals exercise and stay fit. To the female candidates with mobility disadvantages there is the girls’ hostel where the female college students can have a comfortable place to stay.

Apart from nine full-time courses, Hadidas Mahavidyalaya, Chhatia has to offer only ‘Bachelor of Arts’ Courses. Such subjects comprise both BA and honours in different fields of study. Total approved intake of the college in honours programme is 128 and the number of seats offered in each honours course is sixteen. The number of enrolment seats for the general BA programme are not clearly highlighted but the College enrolment has 725 students meaning that admission is done in larger capacity for all programmes.
