Maharaja Agrasen PG College, Bharatpur was set in the year 2003)set in the cooperative state of Rajasthan, in India and it is a co-educational college. This affiliated college boasts of a competitive undergraduate and postgraduate programme offerings of a variety of disciplines. Located on a Land area of 5 acres the college offers a conducive environment for learning. The institute has a total number of 709 students and a total number of faculty members are 16 so that there facility to provide the maximum number of students in per class. Cognitive learning theories: Bandura’s Social Learning Theory; Vygotsky’s Social Development Theory: Information Communication Technology Integration in Social Studies Curriculum 11 courses are offered across five degree programmes in arts, commerce and science streams.

Maharaja Agrasen PG College has invested in various facilities that it considers would improve the learning process of its students. The well-equipped sports complex also provides a place for students doing cricket, football, badminton and hockey, besides fostering physical and team spirit among the students. It is a nerve centre of information with a good stock of books, daily magazines, and journals as well as the latest technological facilities such as computerised searching, photocopying etc. For practical sessions, to provide a proper practical knowledge the college contains well equipped laboratory for physics and chemistry. The necessary IT infrastructure is mentioned, there is a computer lab with more than 30 computers with LAN connection ensuring comfortable digital learning and searching.

This college provides courses from the streams of arts, commerce, science, computer and Management to fulfill the academic aspirations of the students. The institute offers 11 courses among them being undergraduate and postgraduate levels. For the undergraduate level we have BA, B.Com and B.Sc for the students. The postgraduate courses are also in equal variety having master’s degree programme in Hindi, Sanskrit, English, Political Science, Geography, and History along with M.Sc in chemistry and zoology. All these courses are full time for your convenience and to give you the much needed time for advance learning and academic involvement. 

In accordance with the policy at Maharaja Agrasen PG College, the admission process is as simplified as possible for the students. Although it’s unclear how the admission process of Wits University works for each course, it is common knowledge that admission is done on merit.
