Maharaja Chhatrasal Shiksha Mahavidyalaya is a Teacher Education affiliated College located at Chhatarpur, District Chhatarpur (M.P.). Founded in 2007 this institution has prepared the future educators for more than ten years. The college is sprawling over 5.26 acres of land and is recognised by National Council for Teacher Education – NCTE. With a total number of student enrolment of 761 and a teaching staff of 16 personnel the college affords an academically intimate student learning experience. The institute currently offers two professional teaching courses in education, proving concern inasmuch as developing quality teachers of the future generation.

The proposed course is the B.Ed Programme which has a thousand intake capacity and takes two academic years for completion and its primary aim is to produce professional teachers. Likewise, the college extends a four-year integrated course of B.El.ED with 50 students teaching facility for primary education. These programmes support the institute goal and mission to produce qualified teachers at various levels of education sector. The total number of students offered in all the courses offered is 761 this shows the impact of the college to the teacher education especially in the region.
