The Maharaja Ganga Singh Dental College and Research Centre was affiliated in the year in 2008 and is located in Sri Ganganagar, Rajasthan. As an affiliated college, recognised by the DCI and accredited to NAAC this college caters for all dental related programmes. The institute has a sprawling 5 acre campus and offers intake capacity of 443 students including 102 number of faculty members. The college provides a diverse learning environment with a balanced gender ratio of 1:1.5, and both a male to female ratio of 5:8 and 2 different degree levels with a total of 8 courses. Specialisations include general Prosthodontics, Oral Surgery, Endodontics and Pedodontics.

It as well boasts of and provides students with modern facilities which are essential in their education process. Maharaja Ganga Singh Dental College comprises single sex hostels to ensure that the students enjoy a comfortable living standard with well balanced diets and games. In total, Maharaja Ganga Singh Dental College and Research Centre provides 8 courses to the students, such as basic and master degrees. The college’s core offering is the 5 years undergraduate programme leading to the award of Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS), which is implemented through four academic years with an additional one year internship. At postgraduate level of education, the college provides several MDS courses with a duration of three years each. These are in the area of Prosthodontics, Conservative and Endodontics, Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery, Paedodontics, Orthodontics and Periodontology, and Oral Pathology respectively. The total intake sanctioned in all courses at the Sharda University is 118 with 100 seats for the BDS course and rest other 18 for the MDS courses.

The admission in Maharaja Ganga Singh Dental College and Research Centre is mainly conducted through national level test. Candidate with a BDS degree qualification recognised by DCI are eligible to apply to the BDS programme through the NEET while for MDS programmes qualification is through the NEET MDS. The college equally adheres to the policy formulated by the Government of India Dental Council of India, and the Government of Rajasthan on the admission process. As for the students, 66% of the total student body comes from out of the state but this means a diverse student population. The institute also lays strong focus on the exposure hour, BDS curriculum requires one year internship to enable the students get practical session in dental practice.
