Maharaja Jitendra Narayan Medical College and Hospital (MJNMCH), Coochbehar, was established in the year 2018 in the district of Coochbehar, West Bengal. It is a co-educational institution that imparts varied medical courses with the flagship CPMBBS and a few diploma courses offered by it. A very newly founded institution, within a very short span of time, it has earned a good name as an affiliated college and has set itself as a nodal center of medical education in the region. It provides facilities for an enrolment of 400 students with a faculty strength of 67.

College library is a resourceful center that makes research and academic materials available for the students in medical literature. In the thicket of extracurricular activities, MJNMCH offers sports facilities and an auditorium that hosts various events, seminars. The campus is studded well with modern laboratories designed for practical training; the campus also comprises an excellent health center with first-aid facilities that guarantee the wellness of students. The courses offered amount to 4 total. All of them are full-time courses. The flagship course of MBBS has an approved intake of 100 seats, while the college also conducts diploma courses in Radiography, Optometry Technician, and Medical Laboratory Technology. These are all 2-year diplomas and are particularly beneficial to those students who are looking for working knowledge in specialised ancillary medical procedures. 

The admission process of Maharaja Jitendra Narayan Medical College and Hospital is substantially based on the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test conducted for the MBBS program.
