Maharajah's College of Pharmacy, Phool Baugh, Vizianagaram, was established in 2004. One of the premier institutions for pharmaceutical education in Andhra Pradesh, this affiliated college—approved by the PCI, New Delhi—conducts all its pharmacy programmes in a very well-planned campus spreading across 10 acres. This institution is a co-ed one, having a total student population of 373 and a faculty strength of 19. The college maintains a diverse student body with 64 male and 206 female students. This institution has the facility to offer three different degree courses which are specialised in different fields related to pharmaceutical sciences at the undergraduate and postgraduate levels.

Maharajah's College of Pharmacy has excelled in terms of infrastructural facilities to smoothen the learning environment of the students. It has a library that ranks among the best among pharmacy colleges affiliated with the state university. The library houses a vast collection of pharmaceutical literature and subscribes to online databases like Bentham Science Pharmacy collections. The college provides separate hostel facilities for boys and girls with accommodation for 90 and 140 students, respectively. There are three courses running at Maharajah's College of Pharmacy: one undergraduate, one postgraduate and one diploma course. The undergraduate courses include B.Pharma while diploma course include D.Pharma. The postgraduate course is M.Pharma in Pharmaceutical Analysis. The total approved intake for these courses is 150. In the academic year 2020, the total number of students comprised 270: 233 in undergraduate programme and 37 in postgraduate programme.

Admission at Maharajah's College of Pharmacy has constituted a merit-based or entrance examination based to be inclusive. No specific dates are given for any examination by the college, but the entrance of students is based on their performance in relevant entrance examinations. The institute also has a good record of displaying financial support to students because in 2020, out of 233 undergraduate students, 107 received a refund, and for postgraduate students, 19 students out of 37 got a refund.
