Maharana Pratap Government PG College, Gadarwara, is one of the most prominent institutions in Madhya Pradesh, India. The college offers a large number of undergraduate and postgraduate programs in the arts, commerce, and science streams. Admission to Maharana Pratap Government PG College is merit-based and inclusive to ensure that worthy candidates get an opportunity to study further.

Degree wise Admission Process

B.A.: The college has a Bachelor of Arts with an accredited intake of 340 students. Admission to the B.A. course is usually done on the basis of marks achieved in the 10+2 examination. Students in any stream, such as Arts, Science, or Commerce, can apply for a seat in the B.A. course.

B.Com: The Maharana Pratap Government PG College has two B.Com programs.

  • B.Com (General) with an intake of 160 students
  • B.Com Computer Application with an intake of 80 students

Admission to these programs is usually based on the marks obtained in the 10+2 examination, with preference given to students from the Commerce stream.

B.Sc: The college offers several B.Sc programs:

  • B.Sc in Botany, Chemistry, and Zoology (180 seats)
  • B.Sc in Chemistry, Mathematics, and Physics (90 seats)
  • B.Sc in Computer Application, Mathematics, and Physics (60 seats)

Admission to these programmes is usually governed by the marks obtained in the 10+2 level of examination, preferably from the science stream.

M.A.: MA programmes are there in Economics, Hindi, History, Political Science, and Sociology. Each department has an admission capacity of 25 students, and admission here is usually at the discretion of the marks for the relevant BA degree.

M.Com: The number of intakes is 40. Admission takes place on merit of marks acquired at B.Com or equivalent.

M.Sc: M.Sc programmes offered in the college are in Botany, Chemistry, Mathematics, and Zoology. Number of intakes may vary between 15 and 25 in every subject depending on the situation. Admission also is usually through the marks of relevant B.Sc. degree.
